A few weeks ago Syrics Enterprises LLC took on a challenging but rewarding project in Claremont: turning a heavily overgrown, roughly one-acre property into a clean, graded, and seed-ready landscape.
When we arrived, the entire site was buried under 6-foot-tall weeds and brush. Visibility was limited, and the property was essentially unusable. Before any grading or structure work could begin, we brush-cut the whole acre. This first step revealed the true contours of the land, exposed a dilapidated retaining wall, and cleared the way for the heavy equipment.
Next came the structural and earthwork phase. We removed an old porch structure and tore out the failing retaining wall. Using our excavator and skid steer, we graded the full property, carefully reworking the slope that had been held by the old wall so it could be safely and easily mowed. Finally, we ran a soil conditioner across the site to break up clumps, smooth the surface, and create an ideal seedbed.
The result is a clean, even grade with gentle, mowable slopes and a surface prepared for seeding and long-term maintenance. What was once an overgrown, neglected lot is now a usable, attractive property ready for the next chapter.
At Syrics Enterprises LLC, we handle the full process—brush clearing, structure removal, precise grading, and final surface preparation—so property owners don’t have to coordinate multiple crews. Whether you’re preparing land for a new build, improving usability, or simply reclaiming overgrown acreage, we bring the right equipment and experience to get it done efficiently and cleanly.
If you have a property in Claremont or the surrounding area that needs clearing, grading, or preparation for seeding, reach out. We’d be glad to take a look and put together a plan.
